Capacity Building Training for Successful Promotion of the 8th Local Government Administration
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Damyang-gun, Jeonnam announced on the 19th that it successfully concluded the '2022 Planning Practical Skills Enhancement Workshop' organized to improve the planning capabilities of public officials.
This workshop was promoted to increase Damyang-gun public officials' understanding of the overall administration of the 8th local government term and to strengthen policy development and planning capabilities.
The workshop was held for 2 nights and 3 days from the 17th to the 19th at Shinan-gun Sea One Resort, with about 40 participants from departments, divisions, and town and township officials.
The workshop included lectures on ▲Understanding and Practice of Planning ▲Enhancing Planning Skills and Public Service Mind UP ▲Passing Down Planning Know-how from Senior Public Officials ▲2022 Trends Setting the Direction of Planning ▲Organizational Communication Methods through Personality Type Analysis.
In particular, there was a time to acquire the expertise of senior public officials through special lectures such as 'Basic Attitude of Public Officials and Directions for County Administration Development' by Damyang-gun Mayor Lee Byeongno and 'How to Write a Good Planning Report' conducted by Damyang-gun Administrative Director Kang Kyungwon.
Mayor Lee Byeongno said, "This workshop received great responses from employees as it provided customized education by rank and allowed them to learn practical planning know-how," adding, "We will continue to implement various educational programs so that Damyang-gun public officials can successfully lead the 8th local government term."
