According to Investing.com on the 19th, the EU's consumer price inflation rate entered the 9% range in August. After recording 9.1%, it rose to 9.9% in September, approaching double digits.
The consumer price index excluding tobacco rose by 10.1%, driving up the overall consumer price inflation.
The core consumer price inflation rate, which excludes volatile energy and food items, increased sharply to 4.8% from 4.3% in August.
