Korea Racing Authority Busan Yeonje Branch Donates Environmental Improvement Funds to Residential Facility for Disabled

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Korea Racing Authority Busan Yeonje Branch donated 5 million won on the 13th to Seonguwon, a residential facility for the disabled located in Yeonje-gu.

The donated funds will be used for waterproofing work on the dormitory to create a comfortable living environment for the users of the residential facility for the disabled.

Director Ji Seon-min said, “Until now, there have been many difficulties due to budget shortages even though leaks in the dormitory during rainy weather threatened the health and safety of the users,” adding, “With this donation from the Racing Authority, we will be able to carry out proper waterproofing work.”

Branch Manager Bae Gi-han said, “Although the amount is not sufficient, I am honored to be able to provide some help to the disabled,” and added, “We will continue activities to enhance social value.”

The Korea Racing Authority Busan Yeonje Branch has been steadily practicing sharing, including donating 40 million won within Yeonje-gu in September through donation project contests to support vulnerable groups in the local community, revitalize local businesses, and create jobs.
