[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Online video service (OTT) Netflix announced on the 18th that it will produce a new series titled 'Seonsan'.
'Seonsan' depicts the story that unfolds after inheriting a family burial ground left behind following the death of a previously forgotten uncle, leading to ominous events and the revelation of family secrets. Director Yeon Sang-ho, who directed the films 'Train to Busan' (2016), 'Peninsula' (2020), 'The Cursed: Dead Man's Prey' (2021), and Netflix's 'Hellbound', participated in planning and writing the script, while director Min Hong-nam, who served as assistant director for 'Train to Busan', 'Psychokinesis' (2018), and 'Peninsula', takes the helm as director.
Actress Kim Hyun-joo plays Yoon Seo-ha, the heir to the family burial ground, and Park Hee-soon stars as Detective Choi Sung-joon, who has a sharp investigative sense. Park Byung-eun was cast as Park Sang-min, Sung-joon's junior and team leader, and Ryu Kyung-soo takes on the role of Kim Young-ho, Seo-ha's half-brother.
