▲Kakao= Regarding the fire at the SK C&C data center in Pangyo, Kakao plans to prepare compensation measures and discuss damage compensation for losses incurred by Kakao and its major subsidiaries after service normalization. They explained that discussions on damage compensation with SK C&C will be prioritized after service normalization. Kakao Pay, a Kakao affiliate, also disclosed the same information.
▲Samyang Packaging= Samyang Packaging has decided to spin off its PET recycling business division. As of the end of June, the assets and liabilities of the division to be split are 68.7 billion KRW and 100 million KRW respectively, with total equity of 68.5 billion KRW.
▲Hyundai Construction= Selected as the contractor for the remodeling project ordered by the Changwon Seongwon Towol Grand Town Housing Association, valued at approximately 517.7 billion KRW. This represents about 2.87% of recent sales revenue.
▲SK= Regarding the data center fire in Pangyo, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, SK disclosed that “the financial impact including sales is expected to be limited.”

▲Kolon Global= The consortium including Kolon Global, POSCO Construction, Hyundai Construction, and Hyundai Engineering has been selected as the contractor for the Changwon Seongwon Towol Grand Town remodeling maintenance project. Among them, Kolon Global’s construction scale is 377.9 billion KRW, accounting for 16%.
▲Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering= Announced that no bidders other than Hanwha submitted letters of intent in the competitive bidding for investment attraction (third-party allotment of paid-in capital increase) for management rights sale conducted from the 27th of last month until today. Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering designated six companies including Hanwha Aerospace Co., Ltd. as conditional prospective investors on the 26th of last month and is conducting a competitive bidding (stalking horse). The paid-in capital increase is worth a total of 2 trillion KRW.
