[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Ukraine, whose capital Kyiv was once again attacked by Russian suicide drones, called on June 17 (local time) for Russia to be expelled from all international organizations.
According to foreign media, Mykhailo Podolyak, an advisor to the Ukrainian presidential office, stated on Twitter, "Those who attack critical infrastructure to threaten civilians and have issued a general mobilization order to cover the front lines with corpses should not sit at the same table as the leaders of the G20."
He added, "It is time to end Russia's hypocrisy. The Russian Federation must be expelled from all international organizations."
Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, emphasized, "The enemy is terrorizing civilians day and night. Suicide drones and missiles are attacking all across Ukraine," and added, "The enemy can attack our cities, but they cannot break us."
The Ukrainian Air Force announced that it shot down 85-86% of the Russian military drones that attacked since the previous evening.
Vitaliy Klychko, Mayor of Kyiv, reported that due to this attack, a residential building on Shevchenko Street in Kyiv collapsed, resulting in one woman dead and another trapped under the collapsed building.
Rescue teams have saved 18 people, but firefighting and debris removal operations are still ongoing.
Earlier that day, around 6:36 a.m. local time, after an air raid alarm sounded in Kyiv, there were four consecutive attacks presumed to be by Russian suicide drones.
As a result, several houses and buildings were damaged, and fires broke out.
Since June 10, following the explosion on the Crimean Bridge on June 8, Russia has been conducting large-scale air raids targeting power and water infrastructure in major Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv.
