‘2022 BNK Gyeongnam Bank Cup Gyeongsangnam-do Institutions and Enterprises Soccer Tournament’ Successfully Concluded

30 Teams from Local Institutions, Companies, and Community Sports Organizations Participate... Changwon Office of Education Wins

BNK Gyeongnam Bank held the '2022 BNK Gyeongnam Bank Gyeongsangnam-do Institution and Enterprise Football Tournament.'

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Song Jong-gu] BNK Gyeongnam Bank has created an opportunity to strengthen ties between institutions and companies affiliated with Gyeongnam and to promote the development of recreational sports.

BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 17th that it held the "2022 BNK Gyeongnam Bank Cup Gyeongsangnam-do Institutions and Companies Soccer Tournament" over two days on the 15th and 16th.

The tournament, attended by 22 teams from local institutions and 8 teams from companies and recreational sports, was held across six venues including the main stadium of Changwon Sports Park, with matches divided into three groups.

The 2022 BNK Gyeongnam Bank Cup Gyeongsangnam-do Institutions and Companies Soccer Tournament was conducted with strict adherence to quarantine rules such as temperature checks and health questionnaires for all participating players inside the stadium to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

In the institutions division, teams from BNK Gyeongnam Bank, Gyeongnam Provincial Government, Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, Gyeongnam Technopark, Goseong County Office, Gimhae Urban Development Corporation, Gimhae Cultural Foundation, Gimhae City Hall, Masan Eastern Police Station, Masan Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office, Miryang City Hall, Army Comprehensive Maintenance Depot, Inje University, Changnyeong County Office, Changwon Gyeongsang National University Hospital, Changwon Prison, Changwon Office of Education, Changwon Western Police Station, Changwon Facilities Corporation, Changwon City Hall (2 teams), and Changwon Central Police Station participated in a tournament format.

In the companies division, Hyosung and Daehung R&T participated, and in the recreational sports (60s) division, Gimhae 60, Masan 60, Naeseo 60, Changwon Royal, Sacheon 60, and Changwon 60 UTD took part.

In the institutions division final, which had the most teams participating, Changwon Office of Education won the championship by narrowly defeating Gyeongnam Provincial Government 1-0 after a fierce match, while Daehung R&T and Masan 60 won the championships in the companies and recreational sports (60s) divisions, respectively.
