Asiana Airlines Unveils Wrapping Aircraft Supporting 'National Soccer Team'... "Deployed on Various Routes Until December"

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Asiana Airlines has unveiled a wrapping aircraft featuring the image of the ‘Korea National Football Team’.

On the 17th, Asiana Airlines announced that it wrapped images of key members of the Korean national football team, including Son Heung-min, Hwang Hee-chan, Hwang Ui-jo, Kim Min-jae, and Kim Seung-gyu, on the fuselage of its A350 and A321 aircraft to wish for the team’s success. The A350 aircraft fuselage features a wrapping measuring 17m wide by 8m high, and the A321 aircraft fuselage has a wrapping measuring 12m wide by 5m high.

The wrapped aircraft will operate on various routes including domestic flights as well as routes to the Americas, Europe, and Southeast Asia for about three months until December, soaring the skies worldwide.

Since its first involvement in 1999, Asiana Airlines has served as the official sponsor of the Korea Football Association and the Korea National Football Team, supporting the team’s overseas matches and various off-field activities. In 2006, Asiana Airlines also operated a special flight with images of Korean national football team players wrapped on the fuselage of its B747 aircraft.
