[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 17th that it has secured a total of 2 billion KRW for three projects through the special grant fund in the second half of the year.
The special grant fund is a budget allocated by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to regions, generally confirmed in the first and second halves of the year to address local urgent demands and disaster-related needs that cannot be reflected in the calculation of the general grant fund.
The city explained that it secured 1 billion KRW for the Inje Park public parking lot construction project, 800 million KRW for the repair and reinforcement of the Daecheong underpass, and 200 million KRW for the repair and reinforcement of the Mugae underpass.
It is expected that the shortage of parking spaces around Inje Park in the Sambang district urban regeneration activation plan will be resolved, and the durability and safety of the underground passages in the Jangyu area will be improved.
