[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The first step to ‘loving friends’ is using kind words.
Hwamyung Middle School in Buk-gu, Busan (Principal Kang Sam-seok) held a ‘Friendship Love Practice Week’ from the 11th to the 14th, conducting various practical events.
This activity is linked with the ‘Character Education Language Purification Practice Week’ and is a so-called ‘language violence eradication’ campaign to help students develop habits of using correct and good language.
Students participated in various activities such as the ‘Language Purification Campaign Greeting Friends on the Way to School’ to prevent language violence, and ‘I Praise My Friend,’ where they expressed gratitude and happiness in writing, which they usually could not convey.
Principal Kang Sam-seok of Hwamyung Middle School said, “This activity provided a good opportunity for students to view each other positively,” and added, “We expect it will help create a happy school culture in the future.”
