[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the second day of the Saeujeot Festival, the 15th, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, spent a joyful afternoon catching live shrimp with children.

Mayor Park Gang-su said, "Catching shrimp with the children made me feel like I returned to my childhood," and added, "We will diversify the Saeujeot Festival programs so that the whole family, including children, can enjoy them."

Under a clear sky and a refreshing breeze on the second day of the Saeujeot Festival, Mayor Park Gang-su of Mapo District and residents participating in the walking contest enjoyed the autumn atmosphere of Mapo while walking through World Cup Park.

About 2,000 residents participated in the 2022 Mapo District Residents Walking Contest that day.

Mayor Park Gang-su said, "It has been a while since I walked with the residents and felt the autumn atmosphere of Mapo, and my worries and concerns have disappeared," adding, "I hope the residents also feel the autumn atmosphere of Mapo through the Saeujeot Festival and find comfort for their bodies and minds tired from COVID-19."
