To Over 150 Members of 5 Social Organizations... Cultivating a Service Mindset
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 14th that it conducted kindness training for festival volunteers to ensure the successful hosting of the ‘2022 Korea Chrysanthemum Festival.’
On this day, a total of about 150 volunteers and public officials from five social organizations, including the Hampyeong-gun Women’s Volunteer Association and the Green Hampyeong Guardians, attended the training.
The training, conducted by instructor Yang Jihyun from Saramsup Consulting, was held under the theme ‘Kind Hampyeong, Warm Hampyeong, Come Visit Us,’ focusing on cultivating a service mindset.
The training began with an encouragement speech by Lee Sang-ik, the mayor of Hampyeong-gun, followed by kindness education, an overview of festival operations and program guidance, quarantine rules, and volunteer activity guidelines.
Mayor Lee Sang-ik said, “The reason the Hampyeong Chrysanthemum Festival has established itself as the nation’s top chrysanthemum festival is thanks to the dedication and passion of the volunteers,” and added, “I hope you will welcome tourists with kind smiles again this year.”
Meanwhile, the ‘2022 Korea Chrysanthemum Festival,’ themed ‘Hampyeong Chrysanthemum, Embracing K-Culture,’ is scheduled to be held for 17 days from the 21st to November 6th at Hampyeong Expo Park and the Hampyeong-eup downtown area, featuring a variety of programs including experiences, performances, and exhibitions.
