Ulleung County conducted an agricultural product processing startup academy training for farmers and prospective processing entrepreneurs.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kyungho Ahn] Ulleung-gun, Gyeongbuk announced that from the 13th to the 25th, it will conduct a second half agricultural product processing startup academy education for 20 farmers and prospective processing entrepreneurs.
This education, under the theme of ‘Ulleung Forest Products Processing and Wine,’ focuses on wine manufacturing technology using Cornus officinalis berries and standardization of processing technology, combining theory and practical training to provide realistic assistance.
A farmer participant, Farmer A, said, “Ulleung-gun is an island region with relatively limited educational opportunities, so I am very grateful that the county provides a chance to learn high-quality education and the latest Cornus officinalis wine manufacturing technology,” expressing great expectations for the course.
Nam Han-kwon, the mayor of Ulleung-gun, stated, “We will activate the processing industry by providing various educational opportunities centered on the Agricultural Product Processing Support Center, and through this, lead to an increase in farm income.”
