[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) is conducting a public auction of 226.9 billion KRW worth of properties, including apartments in Suseong-gu, Daegu.
KAMCO announced on the 14th that from the 17th to the 19th, it will hold a public auction of 1,551 items worth 226.9 billion KRW nationwide, including 358 residential buildings such as apartments and houses, through the online auction system "Onbid."
These items were entrusted to KAMCO for auction by public institutions such as tax offices and local governments to collect delinquent taxes. The auction includes 699 items priced at 70% or less of the appraised value.
New auction items will be announced on Onbid on the 19th. More detailed information can be found on the Onbid website. KAMCO discloses bidding information on public assets, including seized properties, through the Onbid website and the Smart Onbid application (app).
When bidding in the auction, attention should be paid to rights analysis. The buyer is responsible for evicting tenants, so caution is required. Additionally, the auction of the item may be canceled before bidding due to reasons such as tax payment or undeliverable notices.
