In July, infection disease management laws were taught to 62 managers responsible for quarantine and infection control at high-risk facilities in the area.

Cheoin District Public Health Center also conducted simulation training in September at eight nursing hospitals and psychiatric medical institutions in the area, assuming a COVID-19 outbreak situation.

They also provided education on infectious disease prevention laws and consulting for infectious disease prevention.

Giheung District Public Health Center held simulation training in September with the participation of 13 nursing hospitals and psychiatric medical institutions in the area to enhance on-site response capabilities at high-risk facilities.

In June and July, a joint task force conducted on-site inspections of 60 infection-vulnerable facilities in the area and provided customized infection prevention education and environmental hygiene consulting for each facility.

A city official emphasized, "We believe that a resurgence of COVID-19 can start at any time, so we thoroughly inspect infection-vulnerable facilities to create an environment that can prevent infectious diseases in advance, and continuously provide prevention education to facility workers and residents to enhance early response capabilities."
