Samsung Electronics "High Employee Satisfaction, Positive Perception in the Same Industry"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Pyeonghwa] Samsung Electronics ranked first for three consecutive years in the evaluation of 'The World's Best Employers' announced by the U.S. economic media Forbes on the 11th (local time).
Forbes collaborated with the German public opinion research firm Statista this year to conduct a survey of more than 150,000 employees across 57 countries, including South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, China, India, and Vietnam. The participating employees responded regarding their company's social responsibility, economic performance, and working conditions. They also evaluated whether they would recommend other companies in the same industry and assessed positive and negative images. Based on this, Forbes announced the ranking of 800 companies out of more than 4,000 recommended companies.
As a result, Samsung Electronics ranked first for three consecutive years from 2020 to this year. Samsung Electronics explained that this outcome was due to its employees' satisfaction and pride being higher compared to other companies, as well as positive perceptions within the same industry.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics ranked 5th globally for two consecutive years with a brand value of $74.6 billion (approximately 107 trillion 883 billion KRW) in the 'Best Global Brands' announced last year by the global brand consulting firm Interbrand.
