Changwon National University 'Daedongje' Festival Enjoyed on Campus After 3 Years

From the 12th to the 13th, at the Main Stadium and around the university campus

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Changwon National University will hold the 2022 Bongnim Daedongje Festival from the 12th to the 13th.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Daedongje Festival had been held online, but this year it will be held in person for the first time in three years.

The 38th ON Student Council of Changwon National University is organizing this Daedongje ON: Love Youth under the theme "A Window of Communication between Changwon National University Students and Local Residents," taking place across the campus including the main athletic field.

At the festival site, experience and participation program booths through prior registration and booths highlighting the characteristics of each department will be operated.

Also, on the night of the 12th, Bolbbalgan4, Boramiyu will perform, and on the 13th, Homidul, UNEDUCATED KID, and Dynamic Duo will decorate the festival stage.

Student Council President Hahoechang said, "We have prepared a place to promote unity and solidarity among students and to freely showcase their talents and abilities," adding, "As the only national university in Changwon Special City with a population of 1.04 million, we want to spend time with the local community through the Daedongje Festival held together with citizens."

President Lee Hoyoung said, "I sincerely thank our students and local citizens who showed consideration, dedication, and a high level of civic consciousness during the process of overcoming COVID-19," emphasizing, "This Daedongje Festival is the result of overcoming the crisis with one united heart and creating new opportunities."

He continued, "I hope it will be a true festival ground where students and the local community communicate, befitting the name Daedongje, which means coming together in harmony," and added, "We will spare no support to ensure it becomes a student-centered festival open to the local community."
