'Kimchi Connects Through Metal' Promotion Extended Until the 31st

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Samsung Electronics announced on the 11th that it will hold a promotion event called "Kimchi is Preserved in Metal," offering a free metal kimchi container to customers who purchase the Bespoke Kimchi Plus.
The event, running until the 31st, will allow customers to experience long-term storage not only of kimchi but also of various other food ingredients. This is because the metal kimchi container has excellent airtightness and low gas permeability. It is also said to have relatively less odor and color transfer.
The Bespoke Kimchi Plus applies metal to the cover, ceiling, and shelves inside the upper compartment to preserve cold air. It is equipped with four-sided metal cooling and compartment-specific metal cooling. The temperature variation inside the refrigerator is maintained within 0.3℃. It also includes various kimchi storage and fermentation modes, along with customized storage functions for a total of 23 types of ingredients such as meat, fish, root vegetables, grains, and wine.
In particular, meat can be systematically managed through Samsung Electronics' home appliance platform, the "SmartThings" app. By scanning the meat packaging label with the camera embedded in the app, users can check information such as the slaughter date, cut, and recommended storage period based on the meat's individual history.
Customers can choose from up to 360 colors. The lineup includes 1-, 3-, and 4-door Kitchen Fit models and the largest domestic capacity model of 586 liters, offering a wide range of choices for consumers.
Samsung Electronics also announced that the "BESPOKE Panel Discount Promotion," which has been ongoing since early last month, will be extended until the 31st. Except for some panels such as the Infinite Line, customers can purchase panels for Bespoke refrigerators and Kimchi Plus at a 50% discount.
Hwang Taehwan, Vice President of Samsung Electronics Korea, said, "As the kimchi-making season and winter home appliance preparation season approach, we have prepared this promotion so that customers can enjoy the Bespoke Kimchi Plus with richer and more differentiated benefits.
