[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] As the autumn leaves begin to change color one by one, the hotel industry has introduced outdoor food and beverage promotions and outdoor programs that allow guests to fully enjoy the fall season. A variety of gourmet and alcoholic beverage promotions that add romance to the beautiful scenery are lining up.

According to the hotel industry on the 8th, Rolling Hills Hotel will hold a 'Beer Garden Festival' on the 8th and 9th at the lawn square with autumn scenery, where guests can enjoy beer and music while savoring the romance of the season. The event is held in collaboration with the craft beer brand Arcbeer, and the freshest beers recently produced will be supplied. Various drinks including Haevichi Wheat Beer draft, Arcbeer lager draft, and three types of bottled beer, as well as menus that pair well with beer such as fried chicken and chipolata sausage, will be prepared. Additionally, a mood salon and a performance by the Kang Baeksu Band will add to the romance.

Pizza Hill, a pizza restaurant operated by Walkerhill Hotel & Resort, is offering a 'Wine Night' promotion every Thursday evening until the 13th, where guests can enjoy the Han River dyed in sunset colors. Guests can enjoy unlimited servings of seven dishes that go well with autumn, including combination pizza and seasonal tapas, along with four types of wine, and a complimentary glass of Stella Artois draft beer is also provided. The Wine Night promotion runs every Thursday from 7 PM to 9 PM.

JW Marriott Hotel Seoul is hosting the '2022 Autumn Wine Fair' at the rooftop outdoor garden of its restaurant The Margo Grill, showcasing wines from wineries in 11 countries across four continents including France and the United States all in one place. When purchasing alcoholic beverages at the fair, guests can enjoy up to two bottles of wine per day at the hotel’s Flavors, Tamayura, and The Margo Grill, and one bottle of whiskey at the Mobo Bar with no corkage fee. Events hosted by each wine importer, interesting stories about wine, and a premium tasting zone where guests can sample wines are also prepared.

The hotel industry is also introducing various activity programs that allow guests to fully enjoy nature with all their senses. Haevichi Hotel & Resort Jeju offers the 'Autumn Explorer' program until November 30th, exploring the mature autumn nature of Jeju with an explorer team composed of local leisure experts. The program includes Jeju autumn silver grass trekking around Daeroksan, famous for its silver grass, and a Jeju Oreum forest story tour trekking through the autumn forest path of Mureungari Oreum. Additionally, there are tours of Jeju Stone Culture Park, where Jeju’s symbolic stones, myths, and nature blend, and 'Today’s Jeju,' which tours photo-worthy spots such as Seongsan and Jocheon. All programs require advance reservation at least three days prior to participation.

Walkerhill Hotel & Resort has also prepared various activity programs with experts to welcome autumn. Every weekend morning, the 'Healing Forest' program is operated, where guests can heal their body and mind by enjoying meditation and stretching in the quiet forest near the hotel. Guided forest experiences with professional forest interpreters are held every Saturday to Monday. The autumn programs run until November 30th.

For those who want to enjoy the autumn foliage leisurely away from crowded crowds, hotels with autumn foliage views have prepared customized staycation packages. Rolling Hills Hotel in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do offers the 'Fall in Rolling' package until November 30th, allowing guests to enjoy the autumn atmosphere in the hotel garden filled with over 50 species of flowers and trees including maple trees. The package includes a one-night stay in a standard room with a terrace overlooking the foliage-colored walking path, breakfast buffet for two, a 30,000 KRW food and beverage voucher usable at the hotel’s restaurants, bars, and lounges, and access to the indoor swimming pool and fitness center with views of the garden dyed in autumn colors through floor-to-ceiling windows.

At Sofitel Ambassador Seoul’s chic bistro P?temaison, guests can embark on a gourmet journey while enjoying the colorful autumn foliage view of Seokchon Lake. P?temaison’s 'Le Bon March?' is a distinctive weekend lunch buffet that selects one region of France each season to offer a French gourmet experience from that area. For the autumn season, the theme is Burgundy, a world-renowned wine-producing region in France. The buffet, which runs from 12 PM to 3 PM, features a diverse selection from fresh seafood ceviche to traditional French dishes, steaks, and desserts.
