[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyung-min] Former People Power Party leader Lee Jun-seok wrote on his social media service (SNS) Facebook account on the 7th, "No one should leave the party, and everyone should act with 勿令妄動 靜重如山 (Mulryeongmangdong Jeongjungyeosan)."

This was his first message after receiving an additional disciplinary action of 'one-year suspension of party membership rights' from the party's Ethics Committee early that day.

'Mulryeongmangdong Jeongjungyeosan' is a phrase from Admiral Yi Sun-sin meaning 'to act cautiously like a mountain without rash behavior.' Admiral Yi Sun-sin urged his troops with these words before the Battle of Okpo, the first battle he fought during the Imjin War in 1592.

By receiving the additional disciplinary action, Lee Jun-seok appears to have likened his defensive situation to Admiral Yi Sun-sin preparing for the first battle of the Imjin War, reaffirming his determination for political comeback.

He continued, "No one should leave the party," which is interpreted as drawing a line against the 'new party formation theory' raised by some.

Meanwhile, when Kim Jae-won, then a Supreme Council member who had conflicts with the party during the nomination screening process for the March 9 by-elections, expressed his intention to run as an independent, Lee Jun-seok also posted the phrase 'Mulryeongmangdong Jeongjungyeosan' on Facebook to dissuade Kim from leaving the party.
