Fragments of a Chinese space launch vehicle are expected to fall into the distant waters of the West Sea around 10 PM tonight, prompting a need for caution.

On the 7th, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced that unburned fragments of the Chinese space launch vehicle are expected to fall near approximately 250 km northwest by west of Jeju Island between 22:10 and 22:39 tonight.

The Ministry has issued an aviation notice designating the relevant domestic area as a danger zone to prevent aircraft from entering the debris fall zone. The government is also maintaining communication with the Chinese side to prepare for similar situations.

To ensure the safe operation of aircraft, the Ministry has disseminated this information to airlines and related agencies. The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries has issued navigation warnings to the maritime and fisheries sectors, sent safety text messages, and strengthened monitoring of vessels navigating near the waters where unburned fragments are expected to fall, implementing safety measures.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries stated, "We maintain a response system to immediately relay any changes in the fall time and location related to the Chinese space launch vehicle to relevant agencies and vessels navigating nearby waters."
