Jin Byeong-yeong, Hamyang County Governor, Encourages Athletes Participating in National Sports Festival Track and Field Events

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Jin Byeong-yeong, the governor of Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam, invited and encouraged the athletes participating in the athletics events at the 103rd National Sports Festival held in Ulsan from the 7th to the 13th.

In this National Sports Festival, the athletes competing in athletics are Jeong Gi-pyo (Hamyang Jeil High School, 3rd year) in long jump, Yoon Ye-jin (Hamyang Jeil High School, 3rd year) in the 100m sprint, and Im Seong-yong (Hamyang Jeil High School, 2nd year) and Son Min-gi (Hamyang Jeil High School, 1st year) in the 10km short marathon. Coaches Jeon Jun-woo (Hamyang Middle School) and Seok Yoon-su (Hamyang Jeil High School) are also participating.

On the 6th, Governor Jin met with six attendees, including the athletes and coaches, in the governor’s office. He comforted the athletes competing in athletics and the coaches who have devoted themselves to improving the athletes’ skills, saying, “Please fully demonstrate your abilities with confidence and pride representing Hamyang, and come back with good results.”
