Travel Package Launch to Experience the True Charm of Boseong: Tea Fields, Beaches, and Local Cuisine

[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Jeollanam-do Boseong-gun announced that it will launch a new travel product, the ‘Essence of Boseong’ tour bus, starting from the 14th.

The ‘Essence of Boseong’ tour bus is a travel product created by linking Boseong’s ecological experience program ‘Boseong愛 MuldeulCha’ with major tourist attractions.

It operates on two courses: the ‘Mulmeong Badameong Campnic’ (a portmanteau of camping and picnic), departing every Friday at 2 PM from Gwangju U-Square, and the ‘Boseong Tea Plantation Picnic’ course, departing every Saturday at 9 AM.

A Boseong-gun official said, “This travel product is not simply about visiting famous tourist spots in Boseong, but also a program where you can leisurely enjoy a gourmet trip and the region’s natural scenery along with the ‘Boseong愛 MuldeulCha’ experience.” He added, “We expect it to be a trip that alleviates inconveniences for mobility-impaired individuals and allows travelers to experience the true essence of Boseong.”

Meanwhile, Boseong-gun is accelerating efforts to revitalize the tourism market after the COVID-19 pandemic by building a reservation platform for Boseong experience programs on Boseong Mall to improve accessibility for tourists.
