[2nd Report] Samsung Electronics Posts Q3 Revenue of 76 Trillion KRW and Operating Profit of 10.8 Trillion KRW, Below Consensus

[Asia Economy Reporter Han Yeju] Samsung Electronics announced on the 7th that it recorded consolidated sales of 76 trillion won and an operating profit of 10.8 trillion won in the third quarter of this year.

For the third quarter results, sales decreased by 1.55% and operating profit decreased by 23.4% compared to the previous quarter, while sales increased by 2.73% and operating profit decreased by 31.73% compared to the same period last year.

As a result, it fell short of the securities firms' consensus of sales of 78.3062 trillion won and operating profit of 11.8683 trillion won.
