[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon City announced on the 7th that the Unique Venue Youth Experience Group 'Kkukjeu,' operated jointly with the Incheon Tourism Organization to revitalize the MICE industry, will begin full-scale activities starting with the launch ceremony on the 9th.
Kkukjeu is an abbreviation of 'Unique Venue Like Friends,' a group of 30 young people interested in unique venues.
Over the next approximately two months, they will experience Incheon's unique venues through team activities and directly plan and produce distinctive promotional content. The produced content will be posted on the websites of Incheon City and the Incheon Tourism Organization and will be used as marketing materials through various channels in the future.
The experience group will have all unique venue experience costs fully supported, along with a small activity allowance, awards for outstanding participants, and issuance of activity completion certificates.
The city plans to support the group's content production by providing basic education on Incheon's MICE industry, content planning and production training and practice, and unique venue on-site experience programs.
An official from Incheon City stated, "We will promote the excellent MICE environment unique to Incheon by producing content that highlights the characteristics of Incheon's unique venues through the creative ideas of young people."
