Nationwide Wine & More Offers Over 40 Varieties of South Australian Wines at Up to 40% Discount
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] Shinsegae Group's liquor distribution specialist Shinsegae L&B (Shinsegae L&B) announced on the 7th that it will hold the ‘2022 South Australia Wine Promotion’ in collaboration with the South Australian government and the Australian Wine Association. The event will be held at Shinsegae L&B's liquor specialty store ‘Wine & More’ until the 6th of next month, offering about 40 varieties of South Australian wines at discounts of up to 40%.
The theme of this event is ‘Taste above all,’ designed to let customers experience the world of South Australian wines that create a perfect marriage with delicious food. Additionally, the product lineup has been strengthened from premium to daily wines, presenting a variety of grape varieties such as Shiraz, which represents Australia, as well as Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay at reasonable prices.
Woo Chang-kyun, CEO of Shinsegae L&B, said, “South Australia is the heartland of Australian wine, known for its diverse varieties and styles, making it one of the renowned regions loved by enthusiasts. South Australian wines, with their excellent diversity, pair well with a wide range of foods, so we hope this promotion will be a great opportunity for those who are passionate about wine and food.”
Meanwhile, in July, the South Australian government launched the ‘South Australian Wine Ambassador Club (SAWAC)’ to grow the portfolio of South Australian wines and support the increasing demand in overseas markets. SAWAC was established to create an international network of ambassadors who share a passion for South Australian wine and consists of 45 wine importers domestically and internationally, including Shinsegae L&B. SAWAC plans to contribute to the growth of unimported wines, increase commercial success, and enhance the global recognition of South Australian wines in key markets.
