[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Namyang Dairy Products announced on the 7th that it will launch French Cafe Cafe Mix Stevia, which lowers sugar and calories by adding stevia instead of sugar.
The newly released stevia product features half the calories and zero sugar compared to the existing French Cafe products. Stevia contains no sugar or cholesterol and is widely used in 'zero sugar' products. It is a natural sweetener that is more than 200 times sweeter than sugar.
Although stevia is added instead of sugar, the soft and rich taste unique to French Cafe can still be enjoyed. Using the specially designed ‘Dual-Presso’ extraction method with two extraction processes, the same as the existing French Cafe Cafe Mix line, it balances the coffee’s taste and aroma. The coffee aroma is separated to maximize the scent, and freshness is enhanced through nitrogen-filled packaging.
Additionally, the smoother taste is emphasized with fresh milk. Through a patented method that uses non-fat milk instead of casein additives in the creamer, a clean and smooth taste can be experienced.
A Namyang Dairy Products official said, "French Cafe Cafe Mix Stevia is a product that allows consumers to enjoy the unique taste of French Cafe without worrying about sugar and calories," adding, "We have leveraged the research know-how of French Cafe Cafe Mix to help consumers enjoy more delicious stevia coffee."
