[The Asia Business Daily Yeongnam News Bureau, Reporter Yeo Jonggu] The National Institute for Korean Medicine Development will conduct the "Specialized Workforce Training for Each Sector of the Korean Medicine Industry" from October 24 to November 25.
This is the second round of training this year, following the session held in June. The training aims to secure Korean medicine technologies and professionals in response to the growing demand for traditional medicine and complementary and alternative medicine, which is being driven by the global trend of population aging.
This training is open not only to industry professionals, Korean medicine doctors, pharmacists, and students in related fields, but also to anyone interested in Korean medicine.
Applications for the training can be submitted on the training website from October 4 to October 23, and the lectures will be conducted online. Participants can access the courses at their convenience, and there is no fee for the training.
According to the satisfaction survey for the first round of training, 89% of respondents indicated they were either "very satisfied" or "satisfied." The newly launched second round is expected to provide essential information for the operation and technological development of the Korean medicine industry in Korea, and to help enhance the industry's competitiveness and expertise in the mid- to long-term.
The training consists of three courses: "Product Development Strategies for Korean Medicine Materials," "Strategies for Listing Korean Medicine Pharmaceuticals and Medical Technologies on Health Insurance," and "The Necessity and General Understanding of Korean Medicine GMP."
Jung Changhyeon, President of the National Institute for Korean Medicine Development, said, "I hope this training will not only foster experts in the Korean medicine industry but also greatly contribute to strengthening the capabilities and expertise of all those interested in Korean medicine."
