Infant's Body Found in Shopping Bag in Department Store Women's Restroom

According to the Busanjin Police Station on the 6th, around 10 a.m. that day, a janitor discovered a shopping bag under the sink in the women's restroom on the basement first floor of a department store in Busanjin-gu and placed it outside the restroom, thinking it was trash.

Later, at 1:07 p.m., a waste collection worker, while sorting recyclable waste, looked inside the shopping bag and found the infant's body, then reported it to the police.

The Busanjin Police Station's Criminal Investigation Team is reviewing the department store's CCTV footage and conducting an investigation.
