KT&G Announces Open Recruitment for New and Experienced Employees in 2022

[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] KT&G announced on the 6th that it will conduct the '2022 New Graduate and Experienced Employee Open Recruitment' starting from the 7th. The application deadline is the 28th of this month for new graduates and the 26th for experienced employees, and applications can be submitted through the KT&G recruitment website.

This year's new graduate recruitment will be conducted through the Grade 6/Entry-level and Grade 9 selection processes. The Grade 6/Entry-level recruitment fields include Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing, Raw Materials, Research & Development (R&D), and IT, targeting domestic and international four-year university graduates or those expected to graduate by February 2023. The Grade 9 selection targets high school graduates for production positions, and there is a separate recruitment for veterans eligible for employment support.

Experienced employee recruitment is divided into the General selection and Grade 8 selection. The General selection hires in fields such as Legal Affairs, Social Contribution, Market Research, NGP Development, and IT, targeting those with a bachelor's degree or higher from domestic or international four-year universities or an equivalent level of education. The Grade 8 selection is for candidates with at least three years of experience and a high school diploma or higher in Manufacturing and Raw Materials fields.

All selection processes are conducted in a blind manner to ensure fair recruitment. Additionally, to enhance the objectivity and reliability of the recruitment process, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) competency test will be conducted to verify applicants' abilities and personalities. The recruitment process consists of document screening, practical interviews, and executive interviews by field, followed by a medical examination in December, after which the final successful candidates will be announced.
