Ulju-gun Signs Treasury Agreement with NH Nonghyup Bank ... Manages County Treasury Operations for 3 Years from 2023 to 2025

The signing ceremony was held with the attendance of about 10 officials, including Lee Soon-geol, Ulju-gun Governor, and Hwang Seok-woong, head of NH Nonghyup Bank Ulsan Sales Headquarters.

NH Nonghyup Bank Ulsan Sales Headquarters, designated as the Ulju-gun treasury, will perform duties for three years from next year to 2025, managing the county budget worth approximately 980 billion KRW based on this year's initial budget.

Previously, since the agreement period with the current treasury NH Nonghyup Bank expires on December 31, the county announced a public notice to find a financial institution to handle the treasury duties.

As a result of the announcement, NH Nonghyup Bank submitted a sole bid, and on the 29th of last month, the county treasury designation review committee held a meeting to review eligibility.

The review committee evaluated NH Nonghyup Bank as the final county treasury by assessing eligibility across 19 detailed items in five areas, including the internal and external creditworthiness of the financial institution, financial structure safety, loans and deposit interest rates to the county, based on the proposals submitted by the financial institutions.

Governor Lee Soon-geol said, “Congratulations to Nonghyup, which has consistently worked for the development of Ulju-gun, on being designated as the county treasury,” and added, “Please continue to strive to provide various financial services and benefits for the residents.”
