[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Dong-joo] On the 6th, Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, attended a meeting of strategic semiconductor companies of the Republic of Korea held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and held a discussion with representatives of semiconductor companies. At this meeting, Lee once again mentioned RE100 (a campaign where companies commit to sourcing 100% of their electricity from renewable energy) and criticized the Yoon Seok-yeol administration, saying, "We need to increase renewable energy, but the government's policy is regressing by lowering the targets."
