The contest period is from the 16th of last month to the 14th of this month. The contest is open to all citizens, and individuals or teams can participate. Digital device braille design includes braille designs applied to all digital devices such as home appliances (refrigerators, washing machines, TVs, etc.) or small digital devices, with no restrictions on submission format. Prize money will be awarded according to the prize details for the contest entries, and the winning works are also planned to be exhibited on the day of the ceremony. Additionally, the works will be used as educational and promotional materials to improve awareness of Hangeul Braille in the future.
Kim Young-il, president of the association, stated, "On the occasion of the 96th Hangeul Braille Day, I hope that the expansion of braille on convenience facilities and digital electronic devices that we use daily will improve the awareness of non-disabled people about the lives and welfare of the visually impaired, and that this will lead to the creation of better policies for the visually impaired in the future."
