"South Korea's First M Gallery Brand" Hotel Naru Seoul - M Gallery Opening Hotel Naru Seoul - MGallery.

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Accor's premium collection brand MGallery Hotel, 'Hotel Naru Seoul - MGallery,' opened on the 6th in Mapo-gu, Seoul.

The hotel opened under the name 'Hotel Naru Seoul - MGallery,' inspired by the old place name Mapo Naru. The hotel stated, "Mapo Naru has long been a place where poets and painters, admiring the beautiful scenery of the Han River, came to seek inspiration," adding, "We incorporated the hope that guests visiting the hotel would be inspired like the artists of the past into the interior design and services."

The hotel features a modern exterior and floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking the Seoul skyline. It also received the Green Building Certification from the Korea Productivity Center.

At the hotel entrance, the work 'Gift of the Century' by artist Choi Jeong-hwa is exhibited. On the 20th floor main lobby, artist Yang Hae-gyu's 'Skyway,' made using aluminum blinds, is displayed. This artwork evokes the image of Mapo Naru, which was once a central hub for water transportation.

The hotel has 196 guest rooms. White and walnut tones were used, and the furniture finishes were rounded to emphasize naturalness. Bathroom amenities also use products from the Australian brand 'Grown Alchemist,' which pursues an eco-friendly sensibility.

The hotel features five restaurants and bars. These include the French restaurant Bois Jang, which overlooks the Han River, Bar Bois Jang, Lounge & Deck, The Pool, and Mapo Eight. It also has a Han River view infinity pool and an indoor swimming pool. The second floor of the hotel is equipped with dedicated facilities for meetings and events.

Kim Sung-min, General Manager of Hotel Naru Seoul - MGallery, said, "The hotel is equipped with interior design and works by renowned domestic artists to provide guests with memorable experiences," adding, "Just as many artists have drawn inspiration from Mapo Naru in the past, we hope guests visiting the hotel will discover artistic inspiration in their daily lives while enjoying the symbolic Han River view."

Meanwhile, to commemorate the opening, the hotel launched special package products. The 'Good Mood Package' includes a one-night stay in a Deluxe River room, breakfast at the restaurant Bois Jang, two cocktails at Lounge & Deck, and a late check-out at 2 p.m. The 'Good Food Package' offers a one-night stay in a Deluxe River room, breakfast at Bois Jang, a five-course dinner with two glasses of sparkling wine, and late check-out until 2 p.m. Both packages include a gift of Mapo Eight's signature coffee drip bag.
