BTS Busan Concert "Add More Passenger Planes"... Air Busan Operates Charter Flights to Attract Foreign Tourists to Busan Go Go Sing Air Busan '2030 Busan World Expo' promotional wrapped aircraft.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Air Busan will operate charter flights to Japan and temporary domestic flights in line with the BTS concert held in Busan on the 15th.

Starting from the 14th, Air Busan will operate a total of 12 temporary flights, with 4 flights each on three major Japanese routes: Busan-Narita (Tokyo), Osaka, and Fukuoka.

Temporary flights on the Busan-Narita and Busan-Osaka routes will be operated on October 14 and 16, while the Busan-Fukuoka route will have temporary flights on October 15 and 16.

The temporary flights departing from Japan were sold as charter flight packages including hotels and transportation by local Japanese travel agencies, and all packages for all routes have already sold out.

In addition to the temporary flights, Air Busan’s regular scheduled flights on Japanese routes and the Bangkok flight arriving at Gimhae Airport on the 14th were also fully booked.

Air Busan expects a large number of Japanese tourists to travel to Busan during the concert period and will actively promote the bid for the ‘2030 Busan World Expo’.

On the 15th, the aircraft operating the temporary flights between Busan and Fukuoka will be wrapped with promotional graphics for the ‘2030 Busan World Expo’ to support the enthusiasm for Busan’s bid.

An Air Busan official said, “We planned the deployment of temporary flights and the sale of charter tour packages so that more Japanese tourists can visit Busan during the BTS concert period. We will also take the lead in attracting and recovering overseas tourists in line with the normalization of international travel.”

Considering the rapidly increasing demand for travel to Japan, Air Busan plans to resume the suspended Busan-Sapporo and Busan-Narita (Tokyo) routes for the winter season and increase flights on Japanese routes.

They also plan to actively operate charter flights focusing on small Japanese tourist cities such as Kumamoto and Miyazaki, aiming to revitalize tourism exchange between Korea and Japan.
