Providing Visitors with 9 Types of Items Including Knee Blankets and Snacks Worth 340 Million KRW
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Ulsan City will hold a 'Sponsorship Delivery Ceremony for Convenience Items for Spectators at the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the National (Disabled) Sports Festival' at 3:40 PM on the 6th in the mayor's office on the 7th floor of the City Hall main building.
Attending the delivery ceremony are Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom, Lee Sang-bong, Head of Ulsan Sales Headquarters at Gyeongnam Bank, Park Jung-won, Head of External Cooperation at SK Energy, Kim Chang-hwan, Head of General Affairs at Hyundai Motor Ulsan, Jung Hoon, Head of Samsung SDI Ulsan Plant, Na Yoon-ho, CEO of Kyungdong City Gas, Oh Seok-dong, Head of Plant Support Division at S-OIL, and Lee Young-deok, Executive Director of Management Support Headquarters at Hyundai Heavy Industries, totaling seven representatives from sponsoring companies.
The delivered sponsorship items consist of 31,458 sets of 9 types including knee blankets, bread, beverages, bottled water, chocolate bars, raincoats, glow sticks, and plastic bags, valued at approximately 340 million KRW.
The city plans to provide these items to spectators attending the opening and closing ceremonies of the 103rd National Sports Festival and the opening ceremony of the 42nd National Disabled Sports Festival.
A representative from the sponsoring companies attending the delivery ceremony said, "We are very pleased to be able to support the National Sports Festival held in Ulsan for the first time in 17 years," and wished for the successful hosting of the festival.
Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom said, "We appreciate the generous support from local companies coming together," and added, "This will greatly help the two major sports festivals become a place of harmony and emotion, enhancing Ulsan's external image."
The opening ceremony of the 103rd National Sports Festival will be held at Ulsan Sports Complex at 5:00 PM on October 7, and the closing ceremony will take place at the same venue at 5:30 PM on October 13.
The opening ceremony of the 42nd National Disabled Sports Festival will be held at Ulsan Sports Complex at 4:40 PM on October 19, and the closing ceremony will be held at Dongcheon Gymnasium at 3:30 PM on October 24.
