[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 announced on the 6th that it has added an image crop feature to its AI-based content creation service, Edibot.
By using the AI image crop feature, users can automatically edit images into thumbnail formats suitable for their operating online stores without separately inputting image sizes or specific image modification details. Users only need to set the image exposure method to auto crop and then upload the photo they want to use as a thumbnail.
Edibot retrieves the recent image ratios of the online store to automatically set the crop size, and uses AI technology to recognize the faces of models in the photos to edit them to the most appropriate size. For images without faces, the image size is automatically adjusted based on the length of the shorter side.
Lee Jaeseok, CEO of Cafe24, said, “In the e-commerce industry, providing excellent commerce content as well as product quality is especially important,” adding, “We will continue to enhance our services and features so that online businesses can produce high-quality content.”
