If Target Sales Are Achieved, Driver Bonuses... Tada to Pay Up to 600,000 KRW Monthly

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Choi] Mobility platform Tada announced on the 6th that it will be the first in the industry to launch a beta service of the driver app featuring the 'Sales Achievement Mission,' a function designed to motivate drivers to increase taxi supply in the second half of the year.

The 'Sales Achievement Mission' is designed to provide a certain amount of reward money each time a weekly sales target is achieved. The program targets Tada Next and Tada Plus individual taxi drivers. Drivers who complete the mission each week receive a weekly reward of up to 150,000 KRW. If the mission is achieved for four consecutive weeks, they can receive up to 600,000 KRW per month, and if they continue to meet the mission until the end of the year (December 31), they can receive up to 1,800,000 KRW within the year.

Tada plans to address the phenomenon of reduced actual driving hours by individual drivers as the year-end approaches by introducing the 'Sales Achievement Mission' feature. By building a system that allows drivers to earn higher income proportional to the time and effort spent driving, the company aims to encourage drivers to voluntarily engage in driving and contribute to resolving the year-end taxi shortage crisis.

Lee Jeong-haeng, CEO of Tada, said, "The issue of reduced individual taxi supply toward the end of the year has been recurring annually, but we judged that it is an area that Tada can proactively solve through IT technology." He added, "Going forward, Tada will continue to strive to quickly resolve market issues with innovative methods and services that have not existed before."
