[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] Hyundai Motor Company launched a new trim of the compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) Casper called 'The Essential' on the 6th. The new trim was configured after analyzing customer preference features over the one year since Casper's launch in September last year.
It includes artificial leather seats, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, smart key, rearview monitor, and Hi-Pass system. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Departure Warning Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, High Beam Assist, Driver Attention Warning, and Front Vehicle Departure Alert are also standard features.
Exterior projection headlamps and rear disc brakes, previously available only on the top trim, are now applied. Infotainment features such as an 8-inch navigation system, in-vehicle easy payment service, and Blue Link are also included. The price is 16.9 million KRW. To commemorate the new car launch, test drive events will be held nationwide at Hyundai Driving Lounges from the 17th until the end of this month.
