Commemorative Champagne Release for First Regular Season Championship
Collaboration with France's 'Andre Clouet', Limited Edition Enhancing Landers' Image and Collectible Value
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] Shinsegae L&B announced on the 6th that it will release a limited edition champagne to commemorate the SSG Landers' first regular season championship in professional baseball.
The SSG Landers won the regular season championship just over two years after Shinsegae Group acquired the SK Wyverns and established the team in February last year. Notably, they became the first KBO team to achieve a 'wire to wire' championship, holding first place from the opening day of the regular league without ever losing it.
The limited edition champagne "Amazing Landers" is a collaboration with the French champagne house Andr? Clouet, known among wine enthusiasts as the "Wizard of Ros? Champagne," and consists of four types. First, the "Andr? Clouet Le Clos," which is usually released in quantities of about 1,000 to 1,500 bottles annually, will be released in a limited quantity of 40 magnum-sized bottles.
"Un Jour de 1911," made in very small quantities only from grapes grown in the grand cru vineyard called "Bouzy" and highly favored by collectors, will be offered in a limited quantity of 300 standard-sized bottles. Additionally, the "Andr? Clouet Brut Ros?" will be sold in both magnum and standard sizes, with 300 bottles each. The label features the Amazing Landers phrase and images of baseball players, enhancing its value as a limited edition. This champagne will be available starting today at 35 Wine & More stores nationwide.
Shinsegae Group continues to expand marketing linked with the SSG Landers so that baseball fans can directly and indirectly experience Shinsegae and grow into potential customers. In April, 18 affiliates conducted integrated promotions with the SSG Landers, and on home game days, events such as "Star Wars Day" and "Marvel Day" were held to provide entertainment.
The total attendance for the SSG Landers this year was 981,546, ranking first among the 10 KBO teams. This is the first time a baseball team based in Incheon has ranked first in attendance, even including the SK Wyverns era.
