[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] On Thursday the 6th, cool autumn weather is expected to continue across most regions nationwide.

The morning low temperatures on the 6th are forecasted to be between 10 and 17 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs ranging from 15 to 22 degrees. The expected low and high temperatures for major cities are Seoul 13°C and 19°C, Incheon 13°C and 19°C, Daejeon 14°C and 21°C, Gwangju 14°C and 21°C, Daegu 15°C and 21°C, Ulsan 15°C and 20°C, and Busan 17°C and 22°C.

Due to the influence of a low-pressure trough, occasional rain is expected from dawn until daytime in eastern Jeolla, the southern coast of Gyeongnam, and Jeju. Between dawn and afternoon, light rain will fall in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungbuk, and inland Gyeongsang, with raindrops falling in other areas as well. East winds will blow and rain will continue in Gangwon Yeongdong and the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk. The 'east wind precipitation' in Gangwon Yeongdong and the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk is expected to continue until the 7th. On the 7th, raindrops are forecasted to fall in the central region excluding Gangwon Yeongdong and inland Gyeongbuk.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration's 5 p.m. forecast on the day, expected precipitation amounts until the 7th are 50?100 mm in Gangwon Yeongdong (with some areas in central and northern Gangwon Yeongdong receiving around 150 mm), 10?50 mm in the northern eastern coast of Gyeongbuk, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo, 5?20 mm in the southern eastern coast of Gyeongbuk, northern Gangwon Yeongseo, eastern Jeonnam, and the southern coast of Gyeongnam, less than 5 mm in eastern Gyeonggi, central and southern Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungbuk, inland Gyeongsang, and Jeju, and around 1 mm in Seoul, Incheon, western Gyeonggi, and eastern Jeonbuk.

On the east coast, from the afternoon of the 6th, gusty winds with instantaneous speeds exceeding 55 km/h are expected. Winds will blow very strongly at 35?70 km/h in most offshore areas until the morning of the 6th, and waves are expected to rise to heights of 2?4 meters. Strong winds will continue over the East Sea until the 8th, with waves reaching heights of over 5 meters.
