On that day, President Kang requested the province's active cooperation in promoting the aerospace industry, including the urban air mobility (UAM) industry, fostering aircraft MRO, and acting as a salesman for aircraft exports.

Governor Park said, “Gyeongnam Province will implement policies supporting the aviation industry in preparation for the advent of the urban air mobility era,” adding, “We will concentrate all administrative efforts to consolidate aerospace-related institutions, including the establishment of the Aerospace Administration in Sacheon.”

He continued, “I urge KAI to work even harder for the advanced development of the aerospace industry not only in Gyeongnam but throughout South Korea.”
