Kensington Hotel Saipan Launches Overseas 'Luxury Keycance with Kensington' Package
PIC Saipan Introduces 'Educance (Education+Vacance)' Concept 'English Camp' Ahead of Winter Break
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] E-Land Park announced on the 5th that Kensington Hotel Saipan and Pacific Island Club Saipan (PIC Saipan), operated in Saipan, have launched a package with the concept of 'Kikangse (Kids + Hotel Vacation)' targeting family travelers.
Saipan is gaining attention as a travel destination due to its short flight time of about 4 hours and a 100% local second-dose vaccination rate. The number of visitors has increased by more than 1000% each month compared to the same period last year over the past six months, attracting family customers with children, couples, and golf travelers.
Kensington Hotel Saipan and PIC Saipan are offering an 'All-inclusive Kikangse' concept package until March 31 next year. It features enhanced 'kids-friendly content' with children-only facilities, various indoor and outdoor activities, and even an English camp. Free pickup and sending services are provided for convenient transportation between the airport and the hotel with children.
Kensington Hotel Saipan launched the 'Luxury Kikangse with Kensington' package. The package includes ▲ one night stay in a Kensington Kids Room or Premier Deluxe room ▲ all-inclusive three meals a day ▲ kids' bathrobes and slippers ▲ premium kids-only bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash). Meals provided in the all-inclusive format are free for up to two children per one adult. This package is available for reservations with a minimum stay of three nights.
The hotel's children-only facilities include a newly opened sea-view kids room as of last June, an indoor play area decorated with the popular cartoon character Cocomong called 'Cocomong Kids Camp,' a kids' pool, and water slides.
PIC Saipan launched the 'PIC Saipan Kids English Camp' package ahead of the winter vacation, allowing families to enjoy travel and English education simultaneously. This package allows parents to enjoy other activities freely while their children participate in the English camp.
The package includes the English camp as a basic feature. The number of days participating in the English camp program is determined based on the length of stay. For a 3-night, 4-day stay, children can participate in a 2-day course program. Adding one more night adds a 1-day course program.
The English camp is for children aged 4 to 11. It is held at the resort's kids lounge, Siheki Play House, operating from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The morning program includes learning English songs, vocabulary, and speaking, while the afternoon consists of sports lessons and outdoor activities. During the English camp, children can only communicate in English with native teachers to help them become familiar with the language.
The English camp classes are conducted by native clubmate instructors with professional English education certifications. The program is designed at a beginner level so that children interested in English can participate without burden, using NE Kids English learning materials from NE Neungyule Education. Children who complete the English camp receive a certificate of completion.
Meanwhile, Kensington Hotel Saipan and PIC Saipan will hold various free events for guests in celebration of Halloween Day. They will host Halloween performances and costume contests themed around zombies, ghosts, vampires, and other horror events such as face painting, allowing guests to enjoy the unique Halloween festival atmosphere of the United States locally.
