'CGV Plus' Approximately 40% Cheaper Than Regular Price... Limited Sale
A monthly subscription service combining movie viewing and online video streaming service (OTT) is being launched.
CGV announced on the 5th that it will introduce 'CGV Plus,' optimized for audiences who enjoy various content both at the theater and at home. It is a new type of subscription service that adds a TVING pass to CGV movie viewing. It will be offered in two types: 'CGV Plus Single' and 'CGV Plus Double.'
The former consists of one general 2D movie viewing, one CGV Combo 3,000 KRW discount coupon, and a one-month TVING Basic pass. TVING Basic is a pass that allows viewing various content on mobile and PC in 720p HD quality. The price is 15,000 KRW, about 40% off the regular price.
The latter includes two general 2D movie viewings, two 3,000 KRW discount coupons for companion movie viewing, two CGV Combo 3,000 KRW discount coupons, and a one-month TVING Standard pass. TVING Standard is a pass that allows watching various content on mobile and PC in 1080p FHD quality. The price is 30,000 KRW, about 41% cheaper than the regular price.
