Bonuri Jipbap Expands External Access to Cafeteria Meals Priced Around 5,000 Won

Bonuri Jipbap Expands External Access to Cafeteria Meals Priced Around 5,000 Won Bonurijipbap branch.

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Bon Food Service's group meal specialist brand Bon Urijipbap announced on the 5th that it will expand access to outsiders to reduce the burden of dining out expenses.

This is to alleviate the increasing burden of dining out expenses caused by the so-called 'Lunchflation (lunch + inflation),' and in addition to existing client companies, it provides balanced lunch meals for outsiders at around 5,000 won.

It is available at 46 locations nationwide, including Bon Urijipbap Korail Yongsan branch, with 15 branches in Seoul, 10 in Gyeonggi, 3 in Gangwon, 14 in Chungcheong, and 4 in Yeongnam regions.

According to Bon Urijipbap, since the sharp rise in dining prices in May, the number of meals served by Bon Urijipbap has been increasing every month. Over the past eight months, the average daily number of meals increased by 10% compared to the same period last year, and especially last month, when prices peaked, 800,000 meals were served in just three weeks.

A Bon Urijipbap official explained, “As dining prices have surged, making it difficult to enjoy a hearty meal, Bon Urijipbap, which provides home-cooked style meals 365 days a year, has expanded access to outsiders to share in these difficulties.”
