In particular, President Yoon emphasized, "The country can grow only when SMEs and startups grow," and added, "All national policies must start by identifying difficulties in the field." He continued, "If the government and businesses meet frequently, not only businesses but also the government will gain competitiveness," explaining, "Our government's competitors are advanced countries' governments, and by meeting companies operating in various countries and learning global standards, our government can become competent."

It is also known that President Yoon sought understanding for his absence from an event during his recent trip to New York, USA. Although he was scheduled to attend the Korea-US Startup Summit and K-Brand Expo on the 22nd of last month (local time) during his New York visit, he only attended the Global Fund Financial Pledge Meeting at the invitation of U.S. President Joe Biden.
