Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Holds First Policy Council Meeting of the 4th Resident Election Term

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] On the 4th, the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education held the 'First Jeonnam Education Policy Council of the 4th Elected Term' at Yeongam Hyundai Hotel.

On this day, the policy council sought ways to realize 'A Solid Future for Jeonnam Education Opened Together' on-site, with 79 attendees including 22 city and county superintendents and 12 heads of affiliated institutions.

The council shared 45 tasks related to the themes centered on the promises and development tasks of the 4th direct election term: 'Creating Schools for Learning,' 'Cherishing the Dreams of All Students,' 'Nurturing People Together with the Community,' 'Creating a Warm and Safe Educational Environment,' and 'Enhancing the Pride of the Educational Family through Trusted Administration.'

Superintendent Kim Dae-jung stated, "Jeonnam education will continue to inherit and develop under the major themes of Jeonnam-style educational autonomy and the realization of future education," and urged everyone to unite their efforts so that schools can be faithful to the basics of education within the participation, cooperation, and solidarity of the educational community.

He added, "I also ask the heads of institutions to make efforts to start by listening to the vivid voices from the field of all members of the educational community."
