Tour Bus Operation Every Weekend in October: Sangnim Park∼Gaepyeong Hanok Village∼Namgye Seowon
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam, will operate a free "tour bus" every Saturday and Sunday in October that visits the representative tourist spots Sangnim Park, Gaepyeong Hanok Village, and Namgye Seowon.
This tour bus was prepared to improve travel convenience for walkers who had difficulty using public transportation due to the characteristics of rural areas and visitors who came to Hamyang during the autumn outing season.
The tour bus departing from in front of the Forest Tourism Information Center on Saturdays and Sundays throughout October can be boarded free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis for about 40 people, and operates three times at 1:00 PM, 3:30 PM, and 6:00 PM.
Passengers can visit cultural and humanities tourist sites such as Gaepyeong Hanok Village and Namgye Seowon, and the round trip is expected to take about two hours.
In particular, a cultural tourism guide will accompany the first and second buses to provide various information about Hamyang-gun’s major tourist attractions to tourists, and the third bus will be operated to support visitors’ free travel movements in relation to the Namgye Seowon World Heritage Media Art event.
A county official said, “We hope you take this great opportunity to visit Hamyang, full of the rich autumn of October with plenty to see such as the Cheollyeong Cultural Festival and the Namgye Seowon World Heritage Media Art, and tour the popular nearby tourist spots together,” adding, “We expect the weekend tour bus to widely promote Hamyang and contribute to revitalizing the local economy.”
