Cube Entertainment Signs Business Agreement with NFT Marketplace OnePlanet

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Cube Entertainment announced on the 4th that it has signed a business agreement with OnePlanet, a Polygon-specialized NFT marketplace company, to create a global blockchain ecosystem.

Through this business agreement, Cube Entertainment and Animoca Brands' joint venture AnimCube Entertainment (hereinafter 'AnimCube') will link various NFTs and utilities of AnimCube with OnePlanet, providing convenience for many users to mint AnimCube's NFTs through OnePlanet's marketplace or community.

OnePlanet established an official partnership with the Polygon Foundation and Polygon Studios last May. Through this partnership, it is rapidly becoming a leading NFT marketplace representing the Polygon ecosystem.

Additionally, during KBW 2022 week, OnePlanet co-hosted the Polygon Connect event together with the Polygon Foundation.

To become the representative NFT marketplace of Polygon, OnePlanet is making great efforts to select and attract quality projects. Especially as major game companies are preparing to launch based on Polygon, OnePlanet is also building customized functions and services tailored to games.

Cube Entertainment is a major entertainment agency with top-tier artists such as BTOB, (G)I-DLE, Pentagon, and Lightsum. (G)I-DLE established themselves as the hottest girl group this year by winning eight music show awards with their new song 'TOMBOY'.

Meanwhile, AnimCube's NFT airdrop conducted last April surpassed 2.3 million applicants, and the PFP-type Anibear NFT minting is scheduled for October 5.
