The KCA Korea Consumer Evaluation announced the list of outstanding applications for the 2022 KCIA Korea Consumer Industry Evaluation ‘Applications’.
The Korea Consumer Industry Evaluation is hosted by the Korea Consumer Council and organized by Korea Consumer Evaluation.
This evaluation is conducted to achieve two main objectives: to announce excellent companies based on consumer evaluations by industry according to the standard industrial classification, thereby ensuring consumers’ eight rights guaranteed by the Consumer Protection Act, and to enhance corporate value by informing the public of the evaluation results.
The 2022 KCIA Korea Consumer Industry Evaluation ‘Applications’ is carried out to introduce and promote applications recognized by consumers based on consumer evaluations of various applications in mobile stores.
The final candidates for this evaluation were carefully selected based on a preliminary evaluation of the number of downloads and reviews in various mobile stores, and the final outstanding applications were announced after a comprehensive evaluation according to the final evaluation criteria.
The final evaluation criteria consisted of five categories: △application usability △consumer experience satisfaction △response to consumer inconveniences △content usefulness △overall evaluation, based on which the final outstanding applications were selected.
A representative from Korea Consumer Evaluation stated, “Through the 2022 KCIA Korea Consumer Industry Evaluation ‘Applications,’ we deliver useful information to consumers using mobile devices and widely promote the value of excellent outstanding applications. We will continue to strive to provide more beneficial information to consumers through specialized research and evaluation.”
They also added, “In line with the purpose and meaning of the Consumer Industry Evaluation, we plan to support vulnerable children in need due to COVID-19 and other crisis situations in Korea through Save the Children. We hope to provide some support to children lacking groceries and basic daily necessities due to the COVID-19 situation.”
